Your itinerary

Day 01: Trip from Bali to Banyuwangi hotel, East Java

  • Our staff will pick you up from your hotel or Airport in Bali around at 8 AM (please let us know your detail hotel) then we'll take you to the most western tip of Bali island for 3 – 4 hours by private car with AC to reach Gilimanuk ferry port, and then upon arrival in Gilimanuk, we will proceed to take a ferry to cross Bali strait for about 1 – 1.5 hours sail to reach Ketapang ferry port in Banyuwangi (in the most eastern tip of Java). This trip will go through the rural landscapes of West Bali.

  • And in the afternoon, we will arrive in Banyuwangi then drive up to hotel or home stay for having dinner and overnight stay before you enjoy the exploring tours in Banyuwangi – East Java on the next morning. ** Optional tour program in Banyuwangi: When you arrived in Banyuwangi ferry port and before you reach to the hotel or your other accommodation in Banyuwangi area, you will have a chance and can choose one of optional tour programs such as: Banyuwangi water rafting tours, Banyuwangi waterfall tours and Banyuwangi beach + sightseeing tours with extra cost 

Day 02: Menjangan Snorkeling tours - back to Banyuwangi (B, L)

  • After having early breakfast  and around at 07:00 am, we will drive for about 30 minutes to reach the jetty of traditional boats which will bring us to enjoy snorkeling tours as follow:

  • 7:30 - 08.30: Ride boat with buoy tied (it is not allowed to ride boat without buoy) towards the Menjangan Island. And around at 08.30 am, we will arrive in Menjangan Island and enjoy snorkeling activities at the spots, such as: Spot 1: Ganesha, Sandyslope And coral gardens - Spot 2: Post 1, Mangrove and Eel Garden.

  • Menjangan Island is a small island, located 5 miles to the north-west of Bali Island and is part of the Indonesian archipelago. "Menjangan" in Indonesian means "Deer". The name was given by the local population observing wild deer herds swimming to the island every spring and covering a distance of approx 1.2 miles. Even though the island is a significant part of Bali Barat National Park, it is assigned to the Javanese administrative district and falls under its jurisdiction. The closest big cities are: Singaraja, located in the north of Bali and Banyuwangi, located on the eastern coast of Java. The closest settlement is Sumberkima village. The nearest airport is Letkol Wisnu regional (approx. 8 miles from the island). Menjangan Island has incredibly good coral. Lots of small thinks like Nudibranch and Frog Fish, The coral was quite surprising in its quality. The Walls were great opportunities to see these things. Menjangan Island is known as one of best places for snorkeling & diving tours

  • 12:00 - 13.00: Having lunch which will be served in the box and take a break will be at the Post 1 of Menjangan Island. And around at 13 pm, continue to ride boat to Tabuhan Island

  • 13:30: Arrive in Tabuhan Island for extra snorkeling activities in Tabuhan Island and exploring this remote place. Tabuhan Island is situated 20 km from Banyuwangi city it is at the village of Bangsring, Wongsorejo. Tabuhan Island covers an area of about 5 ha. There are spectacular view marine gardens. The coral reefs are homes for myriad of shellfish, sponges, crayfish and marine plants. It is good for scuba diving as the water is very clear.

  • Tabuhan Island is the fantastic island that composed and surrounded by white sand. Coral seems to blossom into garden with an amazing variety of forms and colors. Growing coral from reef acts as homes for whole communities of marine life such as; thousand of beautiful marine view, aquarium fish species (Amphiprion the Dacyllus, the red coloured Labrida and the Gorisygula), shellfish, sponges, crayfish and marine plants. The visitors can do some activities whether snorkeling or deep diving with breathing equipment exploring a reef and marine life in the spectacular drop offs are also an excellent under water visibility or sun bathing, an unforgettable experience. Pulau Tabuhan is 23 km away from Banyuwangi with about 4 square hectares.

  • 14:30: Continue to ride boat to reach The Bangsring floating house (Bangsring under water), snorkeling & swimming with kind of fishes. Bangsring beach to reach The Bangsring Under Water (Bunder) in Krajan, Bangsring Village, District Wongsorejo which is about 27 kilometers from the city of Banyuwangi. On this place, the tourist is not only treated to views of the marine tourism such as coral reefs on the ocean floor, but visitors can see the child-sized black shark fin about 30-50 cm already tamed. Dozens of children sharks were kept in cages next to the house buoyancy provided by the tour organizer Bangsring Beach. Even visitors can also stop at the house floating, snorkeling (scuba surface), diving, together with children’s pool shark and feed wild marine fish in the Strait of Bali. Around in the late afternoon (around at 16:00 pm, we will escort you back to the place of boat parking and drive back to your hotel in Banyuwangi or Ijen crater area for overnight stay before you enjoy Ijen crater climbing tours on the next morning

Day 03: Ijen crater hiking with blue fire tours, then drive back to Bali   

  • 00:30 or 01.00 am: This trip will be started from your accommodation or hotel in Ijen area around at 00:30 am or at least at 01:00 am and then drives for about 1 hour to reach the post 1 of Paltuding or this is as the starting point for the hiking activities in Ijen crater and then you will do the climbing actitivities in Ijen as follow

  • 02.00 - 06.00: The preparation and then climbing activities to reach top of Ijen. When you arrived on the top of Ijen crater, doing observation of the Milky Way + the seeing process of blue fire and if it is needed with your request, we will descend to reach the edge of lake to see blue fire with better and clearer view, then afterward viewing of sunrise on the peak of Mount Ijen and take a rest with an amazing view the green lake of sulfur as natural backgrounds which can forget how tired for the climbing process in Ijen crater

  • 06.00 - 10.00: Go down by passing the same route or path on the slope of Mount Ijen till reach the base camp of Paltuding or parking area. Around at 08.00 am, leaving from  Ijen crater area to escort you back to your accommodation or hotel for having breakfast, take shower, take your own time in hotel area and then preparation to leave your accommodation or hotel in Ijen area

  • 10.00 - 16.00: Leaving your accommodation or hotel to reach Ketapang ferry port – Banyuwangi and crossing Bali strait for about 1-1.5 hours with a ferry to reach Gilimanuk ferry port in Bali Island without the car/ vehicle and afterward, meet new driver in Bali with his car and then he will escort you for about 4-5 hours drives to reach your hotel which you have booked by your own in Bali Island.
