Day 01: Start from Bali to Ijen crater Banyuwangi

Around at 20:00 PM, our staff will pick you up either at Bali airport or at your hotel in Bali (Kuta, Seminyak, Jimbaran, Sanur, Nusadua, Ubud or Lovina area) then we'll take you to the most western tip of Bali island for about 3 – 4 hours driving by private car to reach Gilimanuk ferry port, and then upon arrival in Gilimanuk, we will proceed to take a ferry to cross Bali strait for about 1 – 1.5 hours to reach Ketapang ferry port in Banyuwangi in the most eastern tip of Java Island or it is well known as Banyuwangi sunrise of Java?

Day 02: Ijen crater hiking with possibility to do blue fire tours, and then to Bromo hotel

Hoping, we will arrive in Ketapang ferry port around at 01:00 am (midnight in Bali time) or at 24:00 pm (midnight in Java time) and we will continue our trip for about 1 – 1,5 hours driving to reach parking area on the slope of Mount Ijen and from this place, we will do climbing Mount Ijen Crater for about 1,5 – 2 hours to reach peak of Mount Ijen. If the weather is good enough, you will see Milky Way on the top of Mount Ijen

From the top of Mount Ijen and if it is allowed by Ijen officer, We might descend to reach area of crater to witness amazing blue fire or natural blue flame at Ijen crater and you will be accompanied by our staff + sulfur mining worker who are expert with the paths on the Ijen Crater. The blue fire in Ijen Crater is ignited sulphuric gas, which emerges from cracks at temperatures up to 600 degrees Celsius (1,112 degrees Fahrenheit) and the flames can be up to 5 meters (16 feet) high; some of the gas condenses to liquid and is still ignited. It is the largest blue flame area in the world and local people refer to it as “Blue Fire”.

After enjoy spectacular view of Blue Fire in Ijen crater, we will ascend back to the top of Ijen Crater to see Sunrise and afterward, you will see also green lake of sulphur & mining worker activities. Resting on the edge of the crater at an altitude of 2883 meters and enjoy best panorama of the lake of sulfate where reflects spectacular view in the surrounding walls to give the impression like unforgettable thing. The sulfur mining workers go down into the crater and climb back up by passing dangerous path on the edge of Ijen Crater with the load as much as 80 kilograms on their shoulders.

This is really a hard job and dangerous. Here also, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery of green lake of sulfur in Ijen crater as one of God’s amazing creation. Do not forget to take pictures in this area as a proof that you have visited one of the most amazing places on earth. After enjoyed the natural scenery at Crater of Ijen and then you will descend the slope of Mount Ijen until vehicles parking area where our vehicle is waiting to escort you to continue our trip directly to reach to Mount Bromo for about 5 –7 hours driving by a private car.

Day 03: The sunrise view tours - Mount Bromo hiking, and then go back to Bali

Wake up in the early morning (around in the dawn time around at 03:30 am) and we will use a jeep which will be ready in the front of your hotel to start your trip to enjoy for Bromo sunrise tour which is located on the tengger region as known as a view point to see sunrise with its young volcanic including Mount Bromo and an active Mount Semeru as background. If it is not foggy, the sunlight when the sunrise will play light shadow which it come up from the sidelines of the mountains and it will give impression like unforgettable thing on mind andheart as a creation from the God. You can choose one of the places to see sunrise in Mount Bromo area, such as:

Mount Pananjakan or Gunung Penanjakan is known well as the best place for view point of Bromo Sunrise in Tengger region. Mt Penanjakan is a major viewing point for all tourists who visited Mount Bromo to enjoy sunrise tours Bromo. It means this place will be crowded on the season of holiday or on the weekend

However, if you got that Mount Penanjakan is too crowded of other tourists, you can choose Love Hill as a good alternative besides King Kong hill

After a short break and take pictures, our jeep will bring us to continue our trip to reach the parking area for 4WD vehicle (jeep) by passing the amazing view on the slope of Mount Bromo, then from parking area you are required to cross the seas of sand on the slope of Mount Bromo by horse riding or on foot (it is optional) till reach to the stairs up (more than 250 stairs) on the bottom of Mount Bromo which it will lead you to reach to the peak of Mout Bromo.

After enjoy nice view Bromo crater and around at 08:00, we will escort you back to the hotel for having breakfast, take shower, packing, loading bags into the vehicle and then transfer you out to reach port of ferry in Ketapang – Banyuwangi (in the most eastern tip of Java Island) for about 5-7 hours driving by passing small town, villages, plantations & beaches. Upon your arrival in port of ferry in Ketapang – Banyuwangi, we will take a ferry to cross Bali strait for about 1-1.5 hours to reach to the ferry port in Gilimanuk – West Bali.
