Tour Itinerary:
Day 01: Yogyakarta to Surabaya by a plane & drive to Bromo Hotel
On this day, you will take the flight from Yogyakarta to Surabaya either in the morning at 09:00-10:10 am or in the afternoon at 15:00-16:10 pm (please choose what time you would like to fly from Yogyakarta to Surabaya and you are required to be at Yogyakarta airport at least one / 1 hour before departure time)
Upon your arrival in Surabaya airport, our staff will meet you at exit gate of arrival terminal of Surabaya airport by your name on placard and then we will continue your trip to reach your hotel in Mount Bromo for about 3-4 hours driving by a private car which is completed with air conditioned. If you take a flight from Yogyakarta to Surabaya airport in the morning for this trip and the weather is good enough, you will have a chance to spend much more time during on way from Surabaya airport to reach to your accommodation in Mount Bromo for visiting Taman Safari Prigen and enjoy Taman Safari Prigen tours as optional program with extra cost as mentioned detail on the attachment
Day 02: Sunrise & Bromo Tours - drive to Hotel in Ijen Crater area
Wake up in the early morning (around in the dawn time around at 03:30 am) and we will use a jeep which will be ready in the front of your hotel to start your trip to enjoy for Bromo sunrise tour which is located on the tengger region as known as a view point to see sunrise with its young volcanic including Mount Bromo and an active Mount Semeru as background. If it is not foggy, the sunlight when the sunrise will play light shadow which it come up from the sidelines of the mountains and it will give impression like unforgettable thing on mind & heart as a creation from the God. You can choose one of the places to see sunrise in Mount Bromo such as:
Mount Pananjakan or Gunung Penanjakan is known well as the best place for view point of Bromo Sunrise in Tengger region. Mt Penanjakan is a major viewing point for all tourists who visited Mount Bromo to enjoy sunrise tours Bromo. It means this place will be crowded on the season of holiday or on the weekend
King Kong hill or Bukit King Kong: If you visit to Mount Bromo, on weekends, or holidays, so at Bromo very crowded with visitors. I suggest you go to the other viewpoint (king kong hill) is a good place to see the sunrise time and Bromo crater, on the an altitude of about 2600 meters
Love hill of Bromo or Bukit Cinta Bromo: is an alternative place to see the stunning beauty for sunrise time on the Mount Bromo. Just like King Kong hill, the spot of love hill is also less well-known than the main spot named "the view point 1" or Mount Penanjakan (the 1st summit climbing), where the most clear view of the sunrise on Mount Bromo can be seen from this spot. However, if you got that Mount Penanjakan is too crowded of other tourists, you can choose Love Hill as a good alternative besides King Kong hill
After a short break & take pictures, our jeep will bring us to continue our trip to reach the parking area for 4WD vehicle (jeep) by passing the amazing view on the slope of Mount Bromo, then from parking area you are required to cross the seas of sand on the slope of Mount Bromo by horse riding or on foot (it is optional) till reach to the stairs up (more than 250 stairs) on the bottom of Mount Bromo which it will lead you to reach to the peak of Mout Bromo
After a short break & take pictures on the top on Mount Bromo with amazing view of Bromo crater, we will go back to the hotel by passing the same route as your have done to reach to the top of Mount Bromo. Afterward, you will spend your time for breakfast, take shower, loading your luggage in to the vehicle and then we will continue our trip to reach your accommodation or hotel in Ijen Crater area for about 5-7 hours driving (it is depend on situation of the traffic) with a private car which is completed by air conditioned . In this route will pass rural landscape, small cities, rice fields, plantations & beaches. Lunch will be served at the local restaurant which is located on your way to reach your accommodation in Ijen Crater area and cost for your lunch will be your own expenses. Around in the late afternoon or in the evening, we will reach at your hotel or accommodation in Ijen Crater area and then overnight stay before you enjoy The expedition and Ijen crater tours in the next morning
If you still have enough time with good weather during your trip from Mount Bromo to your accommodation in Ijen crater area, you will have a chance to enjoy one of optional tour programs for tours to Madakaripura Waterfall or Umbulan Waterfall with extra cost as mentioned on the attachment
Day 03: Ijen expedition & trekking tours – ferry port & to your hotel in Bali
Wake up in the dawn time (around at 04:00 am) and then you will meet with our staff at the lobby of your hotel to drive to reach to the Paltuding by passing through plantations and rainforest. This is one of the few remaining rain forest in Java Island with giant ferns, plants & big trees. This journey takes approximately 1 hour from your hotel by private car
Paltuding is well known as post 1 (base camp) or starting point for Ijen expedition tour and climbing or trekking tour activities to the slope of Mount Ijen. Arrive in the parking in Paltuding which is located on the slope Mount Ijen, approximately 1 until 1.5 - 2 hours will be required to ascend slope of mount Ijen to reach peak of Ijen Crater ( it is depend on the your condition) and along the path, you will enjoy the stunning natural scenery with fresh air & shady. Resting on the edge of the crater at an altitude of 2883 meters and enjoy best panorama of the lake of sulfate where reflects spectacular view in the surrounding walls to give the impression like unforgettable thing with amazing view
The sulfur mining workers go down into the crater and climb back up by passing dangerous path on the edge of Ijen Crater with the load as much as 80 kilograms on their shoulders. This is really a dangerous & hard job. Here also, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery in the crater of Ijen as one of God’s amazing creation. Do not forget to take pictures in this area as a proof that you have visited one of the most amazing places on earth
After enjoyed the natural scenery at Crater of Ijen and then you will descend the slope of Mount Ijen until vehicles parking area in Paltuding base camp where our vehicle is waiting to escort you back to your hotel or accommodation in Ijen Crater area or continue our trip to take you out directly to Ketapang ferry port – Banyuwangi which is located in the most eastern tip of Java Island to cross Bali strait by ferry for about 1-1.5 hours to reach to the Gilimanuk ferry port in the most western tip of Bali Island. Upon arrival in Gilimanuk ferry port, we will continue our trip to reach your hotel in Pemuteran, Lovina, Ubud, Kuta, Sanur, Seminyak, Nusadua or Jimbaran area for about 3-5 hours driving and then Tour Package for Yogya to Surabaya by plane & drive to Bromo Ijen Tours – Bali has finished
