Your itinerary

Day 01: Bali Island to Ijen crater hotel

  • Today, our staff will pick you up from your hotel, airport or other place in Bali area (please let us know - where we have to meet you), then take you to the most western tip of Bali for about 3 - 4 hours by private car with AC to reach Gilimanuk ferry port. Upon arrival in Gilimanuk, we will proceed to take a ferry to cross Bali strait for about 1 - 1.5 hours to reach Ketapang ferry port in Banyuwangi (in the most eastern tip of Java). The trip goes through the rural landscapes of West Bali

  • And in the afternoon, we will arrive in Banyuwangi then drive up to hotel for overnight stay or having dinner at Ketapang Indah Hotel (Resort) or similar hotel before you enjoy Ijen crater hiking tour on the next morning. >>> During your trip today, if you still have time with good weather, you will have a chance to do optional program, such as: Snorkeling tour in Menjangan Island where located on the West Bali National Park with extra cost

Day 02: Ijen crater tour and go to Sukamade turtle beach (B, L, D)  

  • Wake up in the dawn time (around at 04:00 am) and then you will meet with our staff at the lobby of your hotel to drive to reach to the Paltuding by passing through plantations and rainforest. This is one of the few remaining rain forest in Java Island with giant ferns, plants and big trees. This journey takes approximately 1 hour from your hotel by private car. Paltuding is well known as post 1 (base camp) or starting point for Ijen expedition tour and climbing or trekking tour activities to the slope of Mount Ijen.

  • Arrive in the parking in Paltuding which is located on the slope Mount Ijen, approximately 1 until 1.5 - 2 hours will be required to ascend slope of mount Ijen to reach peak of Ijen Crater ( it is depend on the your condition) and along the path, you will enjoy the stunning natural scenery with fresh air & shady. Resting on the edge of the crater at an altitude of 2883 meters and enjoy best panorama of the lake of sulfate where reflects spectacular view in the surrounding walls to give the impression like unforgettable thing. The sulfur mining workers go down into the crater and climb back up by passing dangerous path on the edge of Ijen crater with the load as much as 80 kilograms on their shoulders.

  • This is really a dangerous and hard job. Here also, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery in the crater of Ijen as one of God’s amazing creation. Do not forget to take pictures in this area as a proof that you have visited one of the most amazing places on earth. After enjoyed the natural scenery in Ijen crater and then around at 05:30 - 06:00 am you will descend the slope of Mount Ijen until vehicles parking area in the base camp of Paltuding

  • And from Paltuding post where our vehicle is waiting to escort you back to your accommodation in Ijen crater area or we will continue our trip directly to reach your accommodation in Sukamade Green Turtle Beach. It takes for about 3-4 hours driving to reach Sukamade beach guesthouse by crossing rain forest and small rivers by our special vehicle adventures. Lunch will be served at local restaurant on the way to reach area of Sukamade turtle beach and on this date, you will have dinner & overnight stay in the guesthouse nearby and return to the beach at night for turtle spotting

  • Sukamade Turtle Beach: Sukamade beach is about 97 km to southwest of Banyuwangi. It is natural, quiet & beautiful place. Dutch discovered it in 1927. The 1200 hectare estate is an active plantation that produces rubber, coffee and cacao. Sukamade is the east Java Natural Resource Conservation which is in charge of the turtle’s perpetuation. A night adventure tour in Sukamade beach is an unforgettable trip and it become a popular tour package for tourist who will come to Banyuwangi - East Java. You will be guided by a staff from office of natural resource or a ranger to find sea turtles come to a shore to lay their eggs. If you are lucky enough with good weather, you may can see a female turtle lays more than one hundred eggs on the sandy beach. The female turtles usually start landing at 20:00 pm and return to the sea at 00:30 am

  • How can you reach the Sukamade turtle beach: How you can reach Sukamade Turtle Beach: We will use jeep (4 WD vehicle) to reach this place & the road to Sukamade is worth for the people who want to get the real of adventure trip. It is one of best Java adventure trail for exploring southern coast of Banyuwangi in East Java. We will be crossing the rivers, exploring the rural landscapes and passing rainforest. Along the way to visit this place the visitors can stop at the beautiful place as known as Rajegwesi and the green bay (Teluk Hijau) with its beautiful cliff around. Here, also you will have a chance for a swim in green & clear water with white sandy beach. This place is virgin forest with natural view which is combined with white sandy beach where you can find it in the southern tip of Banyuwangi, East Java-Indonesia. 

  • Accommodation in Sukamade beach area: Condition here is far away from the city with the basic facilities, but more often for the people who have visited this place will recommend to others to visit Sukamade beach when they are in Banyuwangi and sometime, they intend to come back to get an experience exceedingly rare and unique. This place is far away from the city and it not crowded from the daily activities of the busy people. So, it is relaxation area for the client / people who want to get basic facilities once time on their life. On this day, you will overnight stay and having dinner at the lodge or guesthouse in Sukamade beach area

Day 03: The the baby turtles release and Kalibaru plantations stay (B)

  • After sunrise, we will do short trekking to the beach with wide of white sandy and virgin rain forest on the back side. On this amzing beach of Sukamade, you will have a rare chance for releasing the baby turtles to the ocean as their natural habitat. And afteeward, we will go back to the guesthouse for breakfast, take a shower and check-out process

  • And after that, spend the morning time for exploring the surroundings of Sukamade. This is virgin area and without crowded, you may wanna go and a dip in crystal clear waters nearby river. Afterward, we will continue our trip to Kalibaru highland for about 3-4 hours driving by passing small cities, rural landscape, rice fields & plantations then upon arrival at Kalibaru highland, you will stay overnight and having dinner at Margoutomo Cottages or similar hotel where located in the middle of plantations (Coffee, Rubber and Cocoa plantations) with nice hill view

Day 04: Kalibaru plantation tours , then go to Bromo hotel (B)

  • Having breakfast at your hotel, then around at 08:00, you will have a chance to enjoy eco trip of plantations in Kalibaru area. On this tour's program, you will do short trekking through 09 hectares plantations with varieties of spices such as nutmeg, pepper, cinnamon, cocoa, coffee, cloves and coconuts. You may also discover the extraordinary attraction of a traditional making process of palm tree liquid into palm sugar. Not to forget for visiting the dairy farm. The tour can be arranged in the morning and takes about 1 hour until 1.5 hours.

  • Afterward, around at 10:00am, we will continue our trip to Mt Bromo area for about 5-7 hours driving and upon arrival in Bromo, you will stay at Lava View Lodge Bromo or similar where overlooking to the actives volcano of Mount Bromo, Mount Batok and Mount Kursi around Tengger region for enjoyable stay before you do sunrise tours and Bromo climbing in the next early morning

Day 05: Mount Bromo tours and drive to Batu highlang (B) 

  • At 3:30 am, the 4WD (JEEP) will bring you to Mount Pananjakan on the rim of the Tengger caldera as known as view point to see sunrise with its young volcanic including Mount Bromo and an active Mount Semeru as background. If it is not foggy, the sunlight when the sunrise will play light shadow which it come up from the sidelines of the mountains and it will give impression like unforgettable thing on mind and heart as a creation from the God. Afterward, our jeep will bring us to continue our trip to reach the parking area of 4WD vehicle (jeep) by passing the amazing view on the slope of Mt. Bromo, then from parking area you are required to cross seas sand on the slope of Mt. Bromo by horse riding or on foot (it is optional) till reach the stairs up (more than 250 stairs) at the slope of Mt Bromo which it will lead you to reach peak of Mt Bromo. 

  • After enjoy nice view in Mt. Bromo and around at at 08:00, we will escort you back to the hotel for having breakfast, take shower, packing, loading bags into the vehicle and then transfer you out to reach Hotel in Batu highland for about 3-4 hours driving by passing small town, villages and plantations. On this date you will overnight stay at Hotel in Batu highland with natural view and fresh air condition. >>> During your trip today, if you still have time with good weather, you will have a chance to do optional program, such as: Savannah Bromo tour, Madakaripura waterfall tour and Water rafting tour with extra cost

Day 06: Agro tourism, Cubanrondo waterfall, Singosari temple and to Surabaya/ Malang (B) 

After having breakfast at hotel and around at 08:00 am, we will escort your to BATU HIGHLAND to enjoy agro tourism trip for visiting apple and strawberry plantations with nice hill view and fresh air surrounding. Around in the afternoon, we will continue our trip to escort you to Coban Rondo waterfall. Coban Rondo waterfall is beautiful water fall on the slope of Mount Panderman resort that is about 32 km to the west from Malang, it is very interesting to see and visit. The height of waterfall is about 60 meter. Visitor can find and enjoy beautiful panorama ore peaceful impression around the waterfall.

Around in the afternoon, we will continue our trip to Singosari temple where they are located in Singosari sub district 15 minutes to the north side from Malang. Singosari is the most popular temple in Malang and it was one of the Singosari kingdom heritages. Afterward, we will escort you to Surabaya airport for about 3-4 hours to catch your flight home in the evening time (please let us know your detail flight home).
