Your itinerary

Day 01: Bali travel holiday to Sukamade beach tours via both Bali - Java ferry port (L, D)

• Our driver (Bali team representative) will pick you up either at the airport or your hotel in Bali (please let us know detail either your flight number or your hotel in Bali) and we will start your trip to reach to the Gilimanuk ferry port in the most western tip of Bali for about 3 – 5 hours driving (it depends on the traffic situation) with a private car which is completed with airconditioned

• On arrival time in Gilimanuk ferry port, we will proceed to take a ferry to cross Bali strait for about 1 – 1.5 hours to reach Ketapang ferry port in Banyuwangi which is located in the most eastern tip of Java Island. The trip from your place in Bali to Gilimanuk ferry port will go through the small cities, plantations, ricefield, beaches and rural landscapes of West Bali.

• After crossing Bali strait and on your arrival time in Ketapang ferry port – Banyuwangi, we will continue our trip with jeep vehicle (4WD vehicle) directly to reach your accommodation in area of Sukamade green turtle beach preservation. It takes for about 3-4 hours driving to reach Sukamade beach guesthouse by crossing rain forest and small rivers by our special vehicle adventures.

• Lunch will be served at local restaurant on our way to reach the Sukamade beach area. Tonight, you will get dinner and overnight stay in the guesthouse nearby Sukamade turtle preservation and return to the beach at night for big female turtle spotting to come a shore to laying their eggs

  • Sukamade Turtle Beach: Sukamade beach is about 97 km to southwest of Banyuwangi. It is natural, quiet and beautiful place. Dutch discovered it in 1927, the 1200 hectare estate is an active plantation that produces rubber, coffee and cacao. Sukamade is the East Java Natural Resource Conservation which is in charge of the turtle’s perpetuation.

  • A night adventure tour with trekking actitivity to Sukamade beach is an unforgettable trip. You will be guided by a ranger of natural resource officer to find the sea turtles come to a shore to lay eggs. You can see a female turtle lays more than one hundred eggs on the white sandy beach. The female turtles usually start landing at 20:00 PM and return to the sea at 24:00 PM

  • How can you reach Sukamade Turtle Beach: We will use jeep (4WD vehicle) to reach this place and the road to Sukamade is worth for the tourists who claim as natural lover and want to get the real adventure tours. It is one of best adventure trail for exploring southern coast of Banyuwangi in Java Island. crossing the rivers, exploring the rural landscapes and passing rainforest.

  • Along the way to visit this place the visitors can stop at the beautiful place as known as Rajegwesi and the green bay (Teluk Hijau) with its beautiful cliff around. If you are lucky enough, here also at dawn time,  ou will have a chance to see the animals and this place is virgin forest with white sandy beach with natural view which is located on the southern tip of Banyuwangi, East Java-Indonesia.

  • Accommodation in Sukamade Beach: Condition here is very basic, but more often for the people who visited this place will recommend to others to visit Sukamade Beach when they are in Banyuwangi and sometime, they intend to come back to get an experience exceedingly rare and unique. Tonight, you will stay overnight and having dinner at guesthouse/ lodge of Sukamade.

Day 02: Sukamade beach tours and drive to the Ijen crater stay (B)

• After dawn time and before breakfast, you will have a chance to do Sukamade beach tours with a short walking to the beach for releasing the baby turtles (you may can give the best donation for releasing the baby turtles). After that, enjoy amazing view of wide white sandy beach of Sukamade

• Next activity is back to the lodge/ guesthouse for breakfast, take a shower and spend the morning time for exploring the surroundings of Sukamade. This is an area of virtually void of people,- go and a dip in crystal clear waters nearby river.

• Afterward, we leave this area in the early noon to continue our trip to your hotel in Banyuwangi for about 4-5 hours. On this way, you will pass rural landscape, plantations, small cities and rice fields. Upon arrival in Banyuwangi, you will overnight stay at Ketapang Indah Hotel or similar hotel before you enjoy Ijen crater climbing tours on the next day.

Day 03: Ijen crater tour Banyuwangi and go to the cozy green of Kalibaru plantations hotel (B) 

• 00:30 or 01.00: This trip will be started from your accommodation or hotel in Ijen area around at 00:30 am or at least at 01:00 am and then drives for about 1 hour to reach the post 1 of Paltuding or this is as the starting point for the hiking activities in Ijen crater and then you will do the climbing actitivities in Mount Ijen as follow

• 02.00-06.00: The preparation and then climbing activities to reach top of Ijen. Upon your arrival on the top of Ijen crater, do observation of the Milky Way + the seeing process of blue fire and if it is needed with your request, we will descend to reach the edge of lake to see blue fire with better and clearer view, then afterward viewing of sunrise on the peak of Mount Ijen and take a rest with an amazing view the green lake of sulfur as natural backgrounds which can forget how tired for the climbing Ijen crater

• 06.00-10.00: Go down by passing the same route or path on the slope of Ijen till reach the Paltuding base camp and then leaving the Ijen crater area to escort you back to your accommodation or hotel for having breakfast, take shower, take your own time in hotel area and then preparation to leave your accommodation in Ijen area

• 10.00-14.00: Leaving your accommodation or hotel at 10 am or by the latest at 12 at noon to reach your accommodation in Kalibaru highland area for overnight stay with the plantations surrounding 

>>> Notes: If the weather is NOT good or NOT allowed to do night hiking by Ijen crater officer, you can do the Ijen crater tours WITHOUT for seeing the blue fire tours,- but you can still witness the amazing sunrise and green lake of sulfure as well (it depends on the weather),- And then the Banyuwangi Ijen crater tour will be started from your accommodation around after 02.30 am - so on. Day 04: Kalibaru plantation tours,- then drive to hotel in Bromo (B)

• Having breakfast at your hotel, then around at 08:00, you will have a chance to enjoy eco trip of plantations in Kalibaru area. On this tour's program, you will do short trekking through 09 hectares plantations with varieties of spices such as nutmeg, pepper, cinnamon, cocoa, coffee, cloves and coconuts.

• You may also discover the extraordinary attraction of a traditional making process of palm tree liquid into palm sugar. Not to forget for visiting the dairy farm. The tour can be arranged in the morning and takes about 1 hour until 1.5 hours.

• Afterward, around at 10:00am, we will continue our trip to Mt Bromo area for about 5-7 hours driving and upon arrival in Bromo, you will stay at Lava View Lodge Bromo or similar where overlooking to the actives volcano of Mount Bromo, Mount Batok and Mount Kursi around Tengger region for enjoyable stay before you do sunrise tours and Bromo climbing in the next early morning

Day 05: The jeep Bromo tour for seeing sunrise and Mount Bromo hike activities,- then drop off you to Malang or Surabaya (B)   

• Wake up in the early morning (around in the dawn time around at 02.30/ 03:00 am) and we will use a jeep which will be ready in the front of your hotel to start your trip to enjoy for Bromo sunrise tour which is located on the tengger region as known as a view point to see sunrise with its young volcanic including Mount Bromo and an active Mount Semeru as background.

• If it is not foggy, the sunlight when the sunrise will play light shadow which it come up from the sidelines of the mountains and it will give impression like unforgettable thing on mind and heart as an amazing creation of the God. You can choose one of the places to see sunrise in Mount Bromo such as:

  • King Kong hill or Bukit King Kong 
  • Love hill of Bromo or Bukit Cinta Bromo
  • Mount Pananjakan or Gunung Penanjakan
     

• After a short break and take pictures, our jeep will bring us to continue our trip to reach the parking area for 4WD vehicle (jeep) by passing the amazing view on the slope of Mount Bromo, then from parking area you are required to cross the seas of sand on the slope of Mount Bromo by horse riding or on foot (it is optional) till reach to the stairs up (more than 250 stairs) on the bottom of Mount Bromo which it will lead you to reach to the peak of Mout Bromo.

• After a short break and take pictures on the top on Mount Bromo with amazing view of Bromo crater, we will go back to the hotel by passing the same route as your have done to reach to the top of Mount Bromo.- Afterward, you will take breakfast, take shower, loading your luggage in to the vehicle

• And then we will continue our trip to transfer you out back to Surabaya or Malang area as your last destination for this trip and it will take about 3-5 hours driving with a private car with AC (it depends on the traffic situation). Tour package for Ijen blue fire and Bromo tours has DONE
