Java adventure trail & culture tours to Bali 5 days


5 days journey within Java Island for exploring the real adventure trail with culture tours of Java Island which will be started from Yogyakarta or Jogjakarta in Central Java to East Java and crossing Bali strait with a ferry, then escort to your hotel in Bali. This trip will pass the route and doing Yogyakarta tours, sunset tours in Prambanan temple, watching the Ramayana ballet performance in the Purawisata, sunrise tours in Borobudur temple, adventure trip in Jomblang cave, tubing activities in Pindul cave, trekking trip in Tumpak sewu waterfall, plantation tours in Kalibaru and then enjoy water rafting activities in Banyuwangi  before we heading to your hotel in Bali Island

Tour itinerary
Day 01: Yogya culture trip & Prambanan sunset tours 

Our staff will meet you at hotel or airport in Yogyakarta (the best time to start this trip is before at 12 pm & please let us know detail about your hotel or flight number), and we will escort you to enjoy Yogya sightseeing tours or Yogya culture trip for visiting the sultan palace Yogyakarta, water castle (known as Taman Sari), batik home industry, silver smith at Kota Gede village and then in the late afternoon, we will continue to Prambanan temple for the sunset tours in Prambanan temple area and afterward, we will drive to Gazebo Purawisata to enjoy your dinner which will be served with buffer style at 19:00 – 20:00 pm and then continue to witness the Ramayana ballet performance which will be held in Purawisata Amphi-Theater at 20:00 – 21:30 pm. After enjoy the Ramayana ballet performance, we will escort you to the hotel in Yogyakarta area for overnight stay before we continue our trip in the next morning

Day 02: Jomblang cave adventure tours to hotel in Borobudur temple 

On this day, you are required to have early breakfast and around at 07:00 am, our staff will meet you at your hotel in Yogya and then drive to Jombalng Cave for about 2-3 hours driving by a private car. Goa Jomblang is not really cave & it is part of a cave system that covers the whole of Gunung Kidul. The caves were formed over thousands were formed by rainwater and underground rivers that eroded the karst rock (a bit like the famous underground caves in the Yucatan, Mexico). The actual cave (or the bit that the tourists see) is made up of three parts. The first is a large huge sinkhole that was formed by the roof of the cave collapsing. The second part of the cave is a long tunnel and the final part is Goa Grubog, the central cave. If you want to go to Goa Jomblang you need to set off early from Yogyakarta. The best way to get there is by renting a private car. You need to leave Yogyakarta at around 7:30 in the morning, because you need to be at Goa Jomblang by 10:00 (and it’s good to get there early because only 25 people a day are allowed to visit). It’s super easy to get to Goa Jomblang. 

The roads all the way to Goa Jomblang are really good. & the last part of the journey is a bit bumpy. The last 200 meters is literally dirt with rock and no tarmac. You wouldn’t believe that there would be something called “Jomblang Resort” at the end of the road. Upon your arrival in Jomblang cave, you will prepare to descend the hole, installing equipments to your body. The cave instructor will be dropping you down slowly to the base of the hole which is 40 meters vertically, with a rope attached to your body. Around at 12.30 pm, we will leave the Jomblang cave and drive to Pindul cave tubing and then around at 13.00 to 14.30 pm, you will enjoy the trips by lay inside a set of tubes and following the drift of the underground river into the Pindul cave. Played in unique cave with a cluster of bats and sparkling with the beauty of stalactite formations. 

After finish cave tubing activity, then continue to river tubing activity (inclusive the package). The river tubing trip will take you on a journey down the Oya River, along the way you will experience stunning with waterfalls, small rapids and optional cliff jumping. After enjoy the spectacular view and do tubing activities in Pindul cave, we’ll leave this place and drive for about 3-4 hours to reach your accommodation or hotel in Borobudur temple area 

Day 03: The sunrise tours in Borobudur temple & drive to Malang 

Wake up in the early morning (around at 04:00 am in the dawn time), starting for Borobudur sunrise tours to see the best sunrise in complex of Borobudur Temple & then back to the hotel for take shower, having breakfast and spend short time in your hotel area and then, we will continue our trip to reach Malang regency which is located in the Province of East Java for about 8-10 hours driving which is included stop on the way for take a rest. On this route, you can also stop at the local restaurant for having meals and go to the toilet. The other side, you will get much more experience during the trip from Yogyakarta in Cenral Java to Malang in East Java which will be passing the rural landscape, rice field, small cities, beaches, and plantations. You may ask the driver or your tour guide to stop on the way when you get the interesting place to be taken picture during this trip. Upon your arrival in Malang area, we will escort you to the hotel or accommodation for overnight stay 

Day 04: Trekking Tumpak Sewu waterfall – Pantai Payangan Jember to Kalibaru 

After breakfast, we will leave your hotel in Malang, then we will travel to the south heading toward Lumajang regency, it may takes about 3 hours drive following the road along the slopes of Mount Semeru to reach area of Tumpak Sewu waterfall. Tumpak Sewu waterfall is considered as the most beautiful waterfall on the Java island and even throughout Indonesia, has a unique formation resembling a widened curtain, looks beautiful and perfect when viewed from the heigh place. Tumpak Sewu waterfall has a height of approximately 120m and located at an altitude of 500mdpl, the flow of water is swiftly sourced from Mount Semeru, the highest mountain in Java. Local community known this waterfall as Coban Sewu, administratively located in Lumajang district but bordering Malang Regency. 

When we arrived at the main gate of the waterfall, we have to walk along the stairs down the hill for approximately 800m, at the end of the stairs we will down the cliff with assisted rope that is already well provided, then we still have to walk across the river to arrive at this beautiful waterfall. Next you can enjoy and admire the beauty of Tumpak Sewu waterfall. Once satisfied enjoying the beauty of Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, we will follow the same path to get back to the parking area. Next, we will transfer you to continue our trip to reach Pantai Payangan in Jember regency for about 3 - 4 hours driving (it is depend situation of the traffic) and if the weather is good enough, you will have a chance to see the sunset view in Pantai Payangan. After spent your time in this beach for sunset view, we’ll drive for about 2 – 2.5 hours to continue our trip to reach your accommodation and overnight stay 

Day 05: Plantation tours Kalibaru – water rafting & drive to Bali 

Having breakfast at your hotel, then around at 08:00, you will have a chance to enjoy eco trip of plantations in Kalibaru area. On this tour's program, you will do short trekking through 09 hectares plantations with varieties of spices such as nutmeg, pepper, cinnamon, cocoa, coffee, cloves and coconuts. You may also discover the extraordinary attraction of a traditional making process of palm tree liquid into palm sugar. Not to forget for visiting the dairy farm. The tour can be arranged in the morning and takes about 1 hour until 1.5 hours. 

Afterward, around at 10:00am, we will continue our trip to reach the place to do water rafting activities. We will need for about 1.5 – 2 hours driving from Kalibaru to reach to the place of Water rafting activities which is located in Sumber Bulu village, Songgon on the slope of Mount Raung with the fantastic river flow. The Water rafting will be done for about 1.5 - 2 hours with nice view on the river bank.After enjoyed the water rafting, we’ll continue our trip to take you out for about 2 hours to reach Ketapang ferry port – Banyuwangi which is located in the most eastern tip of Java Island to cross Bali strait by ferry for about 1-1.5 hours to reach to the Gilimanuk ferry port in the most western tip of Bali Island. Upon arrival in Gilimanuk ferry port, we will continue our trip to reach your hotel in Lovina, Ubud, Kuta, Sanur, Seminyak, Nusadua or Jimbaran area for about 3-5 hours driving and this then tour package finished
