Trip for Ijen Bromo tours & back to Banyuwangi 3D
Java adventure trail for 3 days trip which is started on the day time from Banyuwangi to get best experience for Ijen blue fire tours which is combined with the sunrise tours in Bromo and then drive back to Banyuwangi - East Java
Tour itinerary:
Day 01: Pick-up service in Banyuwangi & to accommodation in Ijen area
Our staff will meet you either at airport, train’s station, bus station or ferry port in Banyuwangi (please let us know where we have to meet you in Banyuwangi) and then we will escort you to the hotel or accommodation in Banyuwangi (Ijen crater area) or if the weather is good enough, you will have a chance to do optional tour program for the exploring tours Banyuwangi before we reach your hotel or accommodation in Ijen crater area. On this date you will overnight in the hotel or other accommodation in Ijen crater area before you enjoy Ijen crater trekking tours in the next morning
Day 02: Ijen trekking with the Ijen blue fire tours then to Bromo
Wake up in the dawn time (around at 04:00 am) and then you will meet with our staff at the lobby of your hotel to drive to reach to the Paltuding by passing through plantations and rainforest. This is one of the few remaining rain forest in Java Island with giant ferns, plants & big trees. This journey takes approximately 1 hour from your hotel by private car. Paltuding is well known as post 1 (base camp) or starting point for Ijen expedition tour and climbing or trekking tour activities to the slope of Mount Ijen. Arrive in the parking in Paltuding which is located on the slope Mount Ijen, approximately 1 until 1.5 - 2 hours will be required to ascend slope of mount Ijen to reach peak of Ijen Crater ( it is depend on the your condition) and along the path, you will enjoy the stunning natural scenery with fresh air & shady. Resting on the edge of the crater at an altitude of 2883 meters and enjoy best panorama of the lake of sulfate where reflects spectacular view in the surrounding walls to give the impression like doom. The sulfur mining workers go down into the crater and climb back up by passing dangerous path on the edge of Ijen Crater with the load as much as 80 kilograms on their shoulders. This is really a dangerous & hard job. Here also, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery in the crater of Ijen as one of God’s amazing creation. Do not forget to take pictures in this area as a proof that you have visited one of the most amazing places on earth.
After enjoyed the natural scenery at Crater of Ijen and then you will descend the slope of Mount Ijen until vehicles parking area in Paltuding base camp where our vehicle is waiting to escort you back to your hotel or accommodation in Ijen crater area or continue for our trip directly to reach to your hotel or accommodation in Mount Bromo for about 5 - 7 hours driving by a private car. Upon arrival in Mount Bromo, you will stay at Lava View Lodge Bromo or similar hotel where located on the rim of Tengger region before you enjoy Bromo tours with the amazing sunrise view in the next morning
Note for Ijen blue fire tours: If the weather is good enough and you are interested, you can visit Ijen crater at night time which will be started from your hotel / accommodation in Ijen area around at 00:30 am to do Ijen blue fire tours. The blue fire is ignited sulphuric gas, which emerges from cracks at temperatures up to 600 degrees Celsius (1,112 degrees Fahrenheit). Those gases are directly originated from the magmatic chamber under the volcano. The flames can be up to 5 meters high; some of the gas condenses to liquid and is still ignited. It is the largest blue flame area in the world and one of the purest sulfur mines. If you are lucky enough, you can observe the Milky Way in Ijen crater area during you do the ijen blue fire tours and this trip will be combined with the viewing of sunrise in Ijen crater area. Day 03: The sunrise tours in Bromo & drive back to Banyuwangi
Wake up in the early morning (around at 03:30 am in the dawn time) and we will use a jeep which will be ready in the front of your accommodation to start your trip to enjoy for the sunrise tours in Bromo area as mentioned detail on the time table below
03.00 : The preparation time and we'll use a jeep to reach the parking area of Mount Pananjakan or other points and then walking for couple minutes to reach the best place for viewing of the sunrise and you can enjoy a coffee morning while waiting for the sunrise (coffee morning is your personal expenses). Around at 05.00 am, you will enjoy the beauty of the sunrise with natural backgrounds of Bromo
06.00 : After you have finished for viewing the sunrise, we invite you to go and spend your time a while to Widodaren Hill or Cinta Hill to take pictures. Continue to drive to the slope of Mount Bromo and then climbing Mount Bromo with passing more than 250 stairs which will lead us to reach the peak of Bromo. Take the picture on the top of Mount Bromo, take a rest for a while and descend it again to reach the parking area as you have done it for ascend of Bromo
08.00 : Take pictures in the seas of sand & return to your accommodation for b’fast + shower
10.00 : Drive to reach back Banyuwangi for about 5-7 hours with possible to stop on the way for having meals
16.00 : Hoping at this time or at least at 17:00 pm, we will arrive in Banyuwangi area such as in Ketapang ferry port or other place in Banyuwangi as your last destination for this trip
