Tour Package Itinerary

Day 01: Drive from Malang or Surabaya to Mount Bromo for sunset tours 

  • Today, our staff will meet you at hotel, airport or train’s station either in Surabaya or Malang (please let us know in advance where we have tomeet you as starting point for this trip and this trip will be begun by the latest at 12:00 pm) and we’ll drive to Mount Bromo area with a private car / vehicle which is completed with airconditioned. The trip from Malang or Surabaya to Mount Bromo will take about 3-4 hours and it is depend on the situation of traffic during your trip.

  • Hoping by the latest at 15:00 pm, we’ll arrive in the parking area of Mount Bromo and we will hire jeep with a local people as a driver to continue our trip with jeep to reach the slope of Mount Bromo by passing the amazing view which is well known as the seas of sand and it is bordered by the mountains. Bromo National Park is the only conservation area in Indonesia which has the uniqueness of the seas of sand area of 5250 hectares, which is at an altitude of 2392 meters above sea level and it is famous with the whispered sand or local people call it as "Pasir Berbisik". Bromo mountain range is the most active and well-known mountain range as a tourist attraction in East Java – Indonesia

  • We will stop in the area which is as specialist for jeep’s parking in the slope of Mount Bromo, then from parking area you are required to cross the seas of sand on the slope of Mount Bromo with horse riding or on foot (it is as an optional for you) till you reach to the bottom of Mount Bromo which is as starting point of stairs up (more than 250 stairs) and these will lead you to reach to the peak of Mount Bromo.

  • After a short break and take pictures on the top of Mount with amazing view of Bromo crater, we will continue our trip to reach to the Mentigenn hill area by passing the same routes as you have done to reach peak of Mount Bromo. When you arrived at Mentigen hill, we'll look for the best place to see sunset time which is normally happens at 17:45 - 18:00 pm (it depends on the weather when you are there). Please feel free to spend your time for the sunset tours in Bromo area and do not forget to take pictures in this area for a proof that you have been in the spectacular place of Mount Bromo as one of the God's creation.

  • Around in the evening time, we will leave from Mentigen hill in Bromo area and then we will escort you to the hotel as your accommodation in Mount Bromo area and you may take dinner and overnight stay before you continue the journey in the next day

Day 02: Trip from Mount Bromo to Ijen crater stay in Banyuwangi area 

  • After breakfast time and around at 08:00 - 09:00 am, our staff will meet you in your hotel of Bromo area and we’ll leave Mount Bromo to continue our trip to reach your accommodation or hotel in Ijen crater / Banyuwangi area for about 5-7 hours driving and it dependx on the traffic situation.

  • On this route we will be passing the small cities, rice fields, plantations and beaches. During this trip, you can may ask the driver to stop on the way for getting the public toilet or stop at local restaurant for having meals, a cup of coffee or tea. After the driving for about 5-7 hours, hoping we can arrive in your hotel or accommodation in Ijen area and then you'll overnight stay before you do Ijen crater adventure with possibility for doing blue fire Ijen tours

Day 03: Ijen crater hiking with the Ijen blue fire tours then go to Bali    

  • 00:30 or 01.00 am: This trip will be started from your accommodation or hotel in Ijen area around at 00:30 am or at least at 01:00 am and then drives for about 1 hour to reach the post 1 of Paltuding or this is as the starting point for the hiking activities in Ijen crater and then you will do the climbing activities in Mount Ijen as follow

  • 02.00-06.00: The preparation and then climbing activities to reach top of Ijen for about 2-2.5 hours. Observation of the Milky Way + the seeing process of blue fire and if it is needed with your request, we will descend to reach the edge of lake to see blue fire with better and clearer view, then afterward viewing of sunrise on the peak of Mount Ijen and take a rest with an amazing view the green lake of sulfur as natural backgrounds which can forget how tired for the climbing process in Ijen crater

  • 06.00-10.00: Go down by passing the same route or path on the slope of Ijen till reach the Paltuding base camp. Then, leaving the Ijen crater area to escort you back to your accommodation or hotel for having breakfast, take shower, and take your own time in hotel area and then preparation to leave your accommodation or hotel in Ijen area

  • 11.00-17.00: Leaving your accommodation or hotel to reach Ketapang ferry port – Banyuwangi and crossing Bali strait for about 1-1.5 hours with a ferry to reach Gilimanuk ferry port in Bali Island. Upon  arrival in Gilimanuk ferry port, we will drive to your hotel in Bali as the last destination of your trip, such as: Pemuteran, Lovina, Ubud, Kuta, Sanur, Seminyak, Nusadua or Jimbaran area for about 3 - 4 hours and our services finished for Java Bali holiday trip has finished.

# If the weather is NOT good OR it is NOT allowed by mount Ijen officer to do night hiking tours. It means, you cannot do night hiking in Ijen crater to see blue fire tours, And so,- this Ijen crater tour will be done with a basic tour which starts from your accommodation after at 02.00 am, so on. >>> Pls check extra info about a blue fire tours in Ijen crater

# There is new regulation for the visitors who wanna do Ijen crater tour and climb the Ijen crater. He/ She must bring the health certificate/ letter which explain the visitor is without ashtma and heart problem. This regulation is valid starts on 6 Jan' 2024 (due to there was climber died in new year eve Period caused by the heart attack).  You can obtain this certificate/ letter in where you are now or get it from the hospital or health clinic in your country, by the latest on one day before you climb the Ijen crater.
