Tour to Ijen crater, Mt. Bromo, Jomblang cave and Borobudur - Prambanan tours 5D

Itinerary of your tour

Day 01: Trip from Malang or Surabaya to Ijen crater stay

• 08.00: Start in the morning or before at 12 noon, we will leave and drive from Malang or Surabaya area to reach accommodation in Ijen crater area for about 8-9 hrs driving. Today, you will overnight in Ijen crater stay area

Day 02: Ijen crater tour with possibility to do blue fire Ijen tours, then go to Bromo hotel

• 00:30 or 01.00 am: This trip will be started from your accommodation or hotel in Ijen area around at 00:30 am or at least at 01:00 am and then drives for about 1 hour to reach the post 1 of Paltuding or this is as the starting point for the hiking activities in Ijen crater and then you will do the climbing actitivities in Mount Ijen as follow

• 02.00-06.00: The preparation and then climbing activities to reach top of Ijen. Upon your arrival on the top of Ijen crater, do observation of the Milky Way + the seeing process of blue fire and if it is needed with your request, we will descend to reach the edge of lake to see blue fire with better and clearer view. Then afterward viewing of sunrise on the peak of Mount Ijen and take a rest with an amazing view the green lake of sulfur as natural backgrounds which can forget how tired for the climbing process in Ijen crater

• 06.00-11.00: Go down by passing the same route or path on the slope of Ijen till reach the Paltuding base camp and then leaving the Ijen crater area to escort you back to your accommodation or hotel for having breakfast, take shower, take your own time in hotel area and then preparation to leave your accommodation in Ijen area

• 11.00-18.00: Leaving your accommodation or hotel to continue the trip to Mount Bromo for abour 5-7 hours driving (it depends on traffic situation and includes stop at local restaurant for having meal and get public toilet). Upon your arrival time in Mount Bromo area, we will escort you to hotel or homestay or other type accommodation for taking a rest and overnight stay

Day 03: The sunrise viewing and Bromo tour activities, then take a train to Yogyakarta stay

• 03.00-04.30: Wake up in the dawn time and using jeep's vehicle to reach the place for seeing the sunrise in Bromo area or enjoy the sunrise tours, where you can choose one of the famous places to see sunrise in Bromo, such as: Mount Pananjakan or Gunung Penanjakan, Kingkong hill or Bukit Kingkong and Love hill of Bromo or Bukit Cinta Bromo

• 04.30-06.00: Take while your time for a cup of coffee or tea which will be sold/ offered by local people, Afterward seeing the sunrise at a place as like your choice. After enjoy sunrise time, we will continue our this Bromo tour by using our jeep for next destination on the slope of Mount Bromo which is well known as the parking lot of jeep vehicles with wide seas sand surrounding

• 06.00-08.00: Crossing the seas of sand on foot or with horse riding (it is as optional for you with distance 10 minutes walking / one way) to reach the bottom area of Bromo where there are more than 250 stairs which will direct you to reach peak of Mount Bromo.

• Resting for awhile and take the pictures on the top of Mount Bromo with amazing view of the Bromo crater which on the bottom area is spread out the seas of sand or famous with whispering sand and it is bordered with other mountains as natural backgrounds

• 08.00-10.00: Going back to your hotel or accommodation in Bromo area by passing the same route as you have done for reaching the top of Mount Bromo. Arrived in your hotel, please enjoy your breakfast; take a shower and preparation for leaving Bromo to reach your next destination in Probolinggo

• 11.00/ 12.00: around at 11.00 am or by the latest at 12.00 pm (noon), leaving Mount Bromo to drive for about 2-2.5 hours (it depends on traffic situation) to reach Probolinggo train station to take an executive train from Probolinggo to Yogyakarta at 15.11 - 22.33 pm

• Upon your arrival in Yogyakarta train station, meet with our Yogyakarta team (our representative driver) to escort you to the hotel in Yogyakarta area for overnight stay

Day 04: Yourown free program OR do an optional trip from Yogyakarta to the Borobudur and Prambanan temple tours

• Today,- please enjoy yourown free program in hotel area OR if you wanna do an optional tour program for visiting the Borobudur and Prambanan temples, for cheapest option - kindly arrange yourown transport (with taxi online, hotel transport services OR the public transport with shuttle services) 

• Based on the newest term/ condition to visit Borobudur temple that there is regulation for limiting the number of visitors until the top of Borobudur temple each day which will be opened at around 08.30 am (* the temples will be closed every Monday weekly). For Borobudur temple ticket, The visitors or tourists can choose one of 2 option tickets to enter Borobudur temple area, as follow:

  • The temple ground/ yard ticket; It is only for the ground area of temple and not allowed to visit untill the top of Borobudur temple

  • The temple structure ticket; it is to visit the ground area of temple includes to go up till the 9th floor of Borobudur temple

• The other side,- you are required to buy the entrance tickets into the both temples (Borobudur and Prambanan temples) IN ADVANCE with online booking/ buying method via the link as mentioned below;

• When you have done the optional tour program to visit Borobudur and Prambanan temple tours as stated above, please ask the driver to escort you to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 05: Full day trip from Yogyakarta to Jomblang and Pindul cave adventure tours

• 7.00 - 08.30: Check-out from the hotel in the morning and meet our Yogyakarta team to escort you to reach the Jomblang cave adventure tours. And upon your arrival time  in area of Jomblang cave location at 08.30 am, please take a morning hot coffee or tea 

• 9.30 - 13.00: Start doing an amazing adventure tour activity to the vertical cave of Jomblang. Special holiday trip for the vertical cave exploration as 90 meters deep with a complete pulley system with international standard safety equipment as well for your adventure tour in Yogyakarta area, Central Java.

• 13.00 - 14.00: Finish caving tour activities. Enjoy lunch box with local taste/ food. Afterward, drive to Pindul Cave area for next cave tour activities

• 14.30 - 16.00: Tubing tour activities into Pindul Cave. And at late noon, we will drive back to escort you to your hotel in Yogyakarta.- Then around at 18.00, we will drop off to your place (other hotel or other place) in Yogyakarta area.- then our tour package services has DONE
