Java Trip for Ijen-Blawan-Bromo Sunset & Sunrise Tour 4D

Start from airport, train’s station or hotel in Malang or Surabaya (please let us know where we have to meet you), our staff will meet you then escort you to the small town of Banyuwangi regency where Ijen Crater Located. The journey takes approximately 7-8 hours by private car with air conditioned with possible stops en route for having lunch at local restaurant on the way. On this trip, you will pass rural landscape, small city, plantations, rainforest & beaches. Upon your arrival Banyuwangi, you will stay overnight at Ketapang Indah Hotel or similar hotel before enjoy Ijen Crater Trekking on the next morning.

 

About at 04:30 in the morning, our 4WD vehicle (jeep) will bring us to the village of Licin and then continue to the slope of Mount Ijen, passing through plantations and rainforest. This is one of the few remaining on the Island of Java with giant ferns, plants & big trees, this journey takes approximately 1 hour from the hotel by private car. Arrive at the parking area of Mount Ijen, approximately 1 until 1.5 hours will be required to ascend slope of mount Ijen to reach peak of Ijen Crater and along the path, you will enjoy the stunning natural scenery with fresh air & shady. 

 

Resting on the edge of the crater at an altitude of 2883 meters and enjoy best panorama of the lake of sulfate where reflects spectacular view in the surrounding walls to give the impression like doom. The sulfur mining workers go down into the crater and climb back up by passing dangerous path on the edge of Ijen Crater with the load as much as 80 kilograms on their shoulders. This is really a dangerous & hard job. Here also, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery in the crater of Ijen as one of God’s amazing creation. Do not forget to take pictures in this area as a proof that you have visited one of the most amazing places on earth.

 

After enjoyed the natural scenery at Crater of Ijen and then you will descend the slope of Mount Ijen until vehicles parking area in Paltuding base camp where our vehicle is waiting to escort you to continue our trip to reach Blawan waterfall for about 1.5 - 2 hours driving. The blawan waterfall is also known by local people as mini niagara Blawan waterfall. Blawan Waterfall is located in Kalianyar village, Sempol district. It is about 52 km of Bondowoso town. Blawan Waterfall is the continuation of Kali Pahit River, which is also the disposal place of the water from Kawah Ijen, which contains of much sulfur. The water from Blawan Waterfall goes down to the earth then it shows up again in Asembagus, Situbondo district.

 

Blawan waterfall is surrounded by sharp cliffs and there is also stalagmite cave. It is believed that a long time ago this cave was often used for meditate. There are also macadamia plants in this area. Besides Blawan Waterfall, there is also a hot water spring for bathing in this tourism area. After visiting Blawan waterfall, we will continue our trip to Mt Bromo for about 5-7 hours driving by a private car. Upon arrival in Mt Bromo, you stay at Lava View Lodge Bromo or similar hotel where located on the rim of tengger region for enjoyable stay.

 

Optional program for Blue Flame or Blue Fire Ijen Tour: When you arrived in the hotel of Ijen Crater area & If the weather is good enough in the evening time, you will have a chance to enjoy blue flame ijen tour or blue fire Ijen tour which is combined with Ijen sunrise tour on the peak of Mount Ijen (gunung ijen), but you are required to leave from the hotel around at 12:00 pm (midnight) 

 

Kawah Ijen or Ijen Crater is the only crater in Indonesia which has a natural phenomenon "blue fire". In the world, there are only two places that have the blue fire. The blue fire or blue flame tour become the highlight and known well by visitor as a main tourism attraction in Ijen Crater, beside the spectacular view of the green lake of the sulfur as one of the best creations of the God. Many visitors prepare for this trip at night time to enjoy this famous of blue fire ijen tour. Wake up in the dawn time (around at 03:30 am), we will use the 4WD (Bromo jeep) which will bring us to Mount Pananjakan or Kingkong Hill on the rim of the Tengger caldera as known as view point to see sunrise with its young volcanic including Mount Bromo and an active Mount Semeru as natural backgrounds. If it is not foggy, the sunlight when the sunrise will play light shadow which it come up from the sidelines of the mountains and it will give impression like unforgettable thing on mind & heart as a creation from the God

 

Afterward, our jeep will bring us to continue our trip to reach the parking area for 4WD vehicle (jeep) by passing the amazing view on the slope of Mount Bromo, then from parking area you are required to cross the seas of sand on the slope of Mount Bromo by horse riding or on foot (it is optional) till reach to the stairs up (more than 250 stairs) on the bottom of Mount Bromo which it will lead you to reach to the peak of Mout Bromo 

 

Afterward, our jeep will bring us to continue our trip to reach the parking area of 4WD vehicle (jeep) by passing the amazing view on the slope of Mt. Bromo, then from parking area you are required to cross seas sand on the slope of Mt. Bromo by horse riding or on foot (it is optional) till reach the stairs up (more than 250 stairs) at the slope of Mt Bromo which it will lead you to reach peak of Mount Bromo. After enjoy nice view of Bromo Crater and around at 08:00, we will continue our trip for about 1.5 hours driving by 4WD vehicle or jeep to reach to the savanna/ teletubies hill by crossing the seas of sand in Tengger region which is bordered by mountains.

 

After a short break & take pictures, we will go to hotel for having breakfast & taking a bath then enjoy your own free program at hotel nearby with nice view and fresh air surrounding. Around in the late afternoon, we will escort you to the MENTIGEN area to see sunset time then drive back to your hotel for having dinner & overnight stay before we continue our trip on the next morning

 

Optional program for Bromo Milky Way Tours: When you arrived at the hotel in Bromo area & If the weather is good enough on the evening time, you will have a chance to do optional tour program for Bromo Milky Way Tours in Mount Bromo area. This trip will be begun at midnight time from your hotel in Bromo (around at 1:30 or 02:00 am) and we will use 4WD vehicle or jeep to reach the place which is best point to see Milky Way in Mount Bromo area

 

If you want to photograph the Milky Way, the first thing you’ll need to know is how to find it. In this article & in order you can find the Milky Way’s galactic plane and more specifically with the bright galactic center, you are required to use either Smartphone apps or by memorizing important constellations. So, with this way, hoping you’ll be able to find the Milky Way with or without the use of technology. The Milky Way moves across the sky throughout the course of the night and the position of the Milky Way will differ depending on the time of year

 

The best times to observe the bright galactic center of the Milky Way, in Mount Bromo area, tends to be from about mid-March through mid-October, the “Milky Way Season”. Technically, you can see some part of the Milky Way at any time of the year, but when shooting in the time period from September through April, you’ll be limited to the dimmer parts of the night sky as the Sun obscures the center of bright galactic. Mount Panajakan or Gunung Penanjakan is known well as the best place for view point of Bromo Sunrise in Tengger region. Mt Penanjakan is a major viewing point for all tourists who visited Mount Bromo to enjoy sunrise tours Bromo. It means this place will be crowded on the season of holiday or on the weekend  

 

King Kong hill or Bukit King Kong : If you visit to Mount Bromo, on weekends, or holidays, so at Bromo very crowded with visitors. I suggest you go to the other viewpoint (king kong hill) is a good place to see the sunrise time and Bromo crater, on the an altitude of about 2600 meters

 

Love hill of Bromo or Bukit Cinta Bromo: is an alternative place to see the stunning beauty for sunrise time on the Mount Bromo. Just like King Kong hill, the spot of love hill is also less well-known than the main spot named "the view point 1" or Mount Penanjakan (the 1st summit climbing), where the most clear view of the sunrise on Mount Bromo can be seen from this spot. However, if you got that Mount Penanjakan is too crowded of other tourists, you can choose Love Hill as a good alternative besides King Kong hill

 

After a short break & take pictures, our jeep will bring us to continue our trip to reach the parking area for 4WD vehicle (jeep) by passing the amazing view on the slope of Mount Bromo, then from parking area you are required to cross the seas of sand on the slope of Mount Bromo by horse riding or on foot (it is optional) till reach to the stairs up (more than 250 stairs) on the bottom of Mount Bromo which it will lead you to reach to the peak of Mout Bromo. Afterward, round we will drive back to your hotel for having for having breakfast, take shower, packing, loading bags into the vehicle and then we will continue our trip to transfer you out back to Surabaya or Malang area as your last destination for this trip and it will take about 3-4 hours driving by a private car with AC (it is depend on the traffic situation).
