Tour itinerary
Day 01: Yogya trip for Borobudur tours & visit to Prambanan temple
Our staff will meet you at hotel or airport in Yogyakarta (the best time to start this trip is before at 9 am & please let us know detail about your hotel or flight number), and we will escort you to visit Borobudur temple. We will drive from Yogyakarta to Borobudur for about 1.5 – 2 hours and upon arrival in Borobudur temple, you will enjoy Borobudur temple tours. After enjoy Borobudur tours, we will continue our trip to visit the largest hindu temple which is well-known as Prambanan temple. Around in the afternoon, we will leave Prambanan temple to continue to enjoy Yogya sightseeing tours for visiting the sultan palace Yogyakarta, water castle (known as Taman Sari), batik home industry, silver smith at Kota Gede village and then in the late afternoon, we will escort you to the hotel in Yogyakarta area for overnight stay
Day 02: Jombalang cave adventure tours to hotel in Solo / Surakarta
On this day, you are required to have early breakfast and around at 07:00 am, our staff will meet you at your hotel in Yogya and then drive to Jombalng Cave for about 2-3 hours driving by a private car. Goa Jomblang is not really cave & it is part of a cave system that covers the whole of Gunung Kidul. The caves were formed over thousands were formed by rainwater and underground rivers that eroded the karst rock (a bit like the famous underground caves in the Yucatan, Mexico). The actual cave (or the bit that the tourists see) is made up of three parts. The first is a large huge sinkhole that was formed by the roof of the cave collapsing. The second part of the cave is a long tunnel and the final part is Goa Grubog, the central cave. If you want to go to Goa Jomblang you need to set off early from Yogyakarta.
The best way to get there is by renting a private car. You need to leave Yogyakarta at around 7:30 in the morning, because you need to be at Goa Jomblang by 10:00 (and it’s good to get there early because only 25 people a day are allowed to visit). It’s super easy to get to Goa Jomblang. The roads all the way to Goa Jomblang are really good. & the last part of the journey is a bit bumpy. The last 200 meters is literally dirt with rock and no tarmac. You wouldn’t believe that there would be something called “Jomblang Resort” at the end of the road.
Upon your arrival in Jombalang cave, you will prepare to descend the hole, installing equipments to your body. The cave instructor will be dropping you down slowly to the base of the hole which is 40 meters vertically, with a rope attached to your body. Around at 12.30 pm, we will leave the Jomblang cave and drive to Pindul cave tubing and then around at 13.00 to 14.30 pm, you will enjoy the trips by lay inside a set of tubes and following the drift of the underground river into the Pindul cave. Played in unique cave with a cluster of bats and sparkling with the beauty of stalactite formations. After finish cave tubing activity, then continue to river tubing activity (inclusive the package). The River Tubing trip will take you on a journey down the Oya River, along the way you will experience stunning with waterfalls, small rapids and optional cliff jumping. After enjoy the spectacular view and do tubing activities in Pindul cave, we’ll leave this place and drive for about 3-4 hours to reach your accommodation in Solo or Surakarta area for overnight stay
Day 03: Solo culture tours & drive to Bromo
After having breakfast, our staff will meet you at your hotel in Solo or Surakarta and around at 8 am, we will leave your hotel to continue our trip escort you to Mount Bromo area for about 9-10 hours driving by a private car including stop on the way for visiting Mangkunegaran palace & antique market in Solo. Lunch will be served on the way at local restaurant. Arrive in Mount Bromo, you will having dinner & overnight stay at the hotel which is located on the rim of tengger region for enjoyable stay before you do the sunrise tours Bromo in the dawn time of next day
Day 04: The sunrise tours of Bromo and continued to Surabaya
Today, you are required to wake up in the dawn time and around at 03.30 am, we will use 4 wheel drive vehicle (Jeep) which will be ready in the front of your accommodation and we’ll bring you to the Pananjakan which is located on the rim of the tengger caldera or other places which is well-known as the best point to see the sunrise with its young volcanic including Mount Bromo and an active Mount Semeru as natural backgrounds. If it is not foggy, the sunlight when the sunrise will play light shadow which it come up from the sidelines of the mountains and it will give impression like unforgettable thing on your mind / heart as an amazing creation of the God. Afterward, the jeep will bring us to continue our trip to reach the parking area of the jeeps on the slope of Mount Bromo by passing an amazing view of the seas of sand or the whispered sand (pasir berbisik) which is bordered by mountains, so it will add the beautifully of this area and that's why the tourist always want to go back again to visit Mount Bromo
Afterward from the parking area, you are required to cross the seas of sand on the slope of Mount Bromo by horse riding or on foot (it is an optional) till you reach the stairs up which is located on the bottom area of Mount Bromo and from this place, you will climb Mount Bromo by passing more than the 250 stairs which will lead you to reach the peak of Bromo. After enjoy nice view in Mount Bromo and around at 08:00, we will escort you back to the hotel for having breakfast, take shower, packing, loading bags into the vehicle and then we will leave Mount Bromo to continue our trip for 3-5 hours driving to reach Surabaya as last destination of your trip with us.
