Bromo sunrise & savanna snorkeling Ijen - Surabaya 5D

Our staff will pick you up from train’s station, airport or hotel in Malang or Surabaya (please let us know where we have to meet you), then drive to Mount Bromo area with an AC vehicle tourist standard for about 3-4 hours. Upon your arrival in Mt. Bromo area, you will stay at the hotel which is located in the Bromo National Park area before you enjoy sunrise view & Bromo Tours on the next morning

 

Waku up at 03:00 am in the dawn time, we will start from your hotel in Bromo by using  jeep which will be ready in the parking area to start your trip to enjoy for Bromo sunrise tour which is located on the Tengger region as knwn as a view point to see sunrise with its young volcanic including Mount Bromo and an active Mount Semeru as natural backgrounds. If it is not foggy, the sunlight when the sunrise will play light shadow which it come up from the sidelines of the mountains and it will give impression like unforgettable thing on mind & heart as a creation from the God. You can choose one of the places to see sunrise in Mount Bromo area such as:

 

Mount Pananjakan or Gunung Penanjakan is known well as the best place for view point of Bromo Sunrise in Tengger region. Mt Penanjakan is a major viewing point for all tourists who visited Mount Bromo to enjoy sunrise tours Bromo. It means this place will be crowded on the season of holiday or on the weekend  

 

Kingkong hill or Bukit Kingkong: If you visit to Mount Bromo, on weekends, or holidays, so at Bromo very crowded with visitors. I suggest you go to the other viewpoint (king kong hill) is a good place to see the sunrise time and Bromo crater, on the an altitude of about 2600 meters

 

Love hill of Bromo or Bukit Cinta Bromo: is an alternative place to see the stunning beauty for sunrise time on the Mount Bromo. Just like King Kong hill, the spot of love hill is also less well-known than the main spot named "the view point 1" or Mount Penanjakan (the 1st summit climbing), where the most clear view of the sunrise on Mount Bromo can be seen from this spot. However, if you got that Mount Penanjakan is too crowded of other tourists, you can choose Love Hill as a good alternative besides King Kong hill

 

After enjoy nice view of Bromo and around at 07:30 am, we will continue our trip for about 1-1,5 hours driving by 4WD vehicle/ jeep to reach “the savanna/ teletubies hill” by crossing the seas of sand in Bromo & Tengger region which is bordered by mountains. After a short break & take pictures, we will escort you back to the hotel for breakfast, take shower, packing, loading bags into the vehicle and we will leave Mount Bromo to continue our trip to reach to accommodation in Ijen crater area of Banyuwangi for about 6-7 hours driving by passing small town, villages, plantations & beaches. Upon your arrival Ijen crater area of Banyuwangi, we will escort you to the Hotel for overnight stay before you continue our trip on the next morning

 

On this day you may spend your time and enjoy relaxation in your hotel area, but you may wanna spend your time to enjoy optional tour program for Banyuwangi snorkeling tours activities with extra cost as detail bellow: After having early breakfast  and around at 07:00 am, we will drive for about 30 minutes to reach the place of boats which will bring us to enjoy snorkeling tours as follow:

 

7:30 am: ride boat with buoy tied (it is not allowed to ride boat without buoy) towards The Menjangan Island

8:10 am: arrive in Menjangan Island and enjoy snorkeling activities at the spots, such as: 

Spot 1: Ganesha, Sandyslope And coral gardens - Spot 2: Post 1, Mangrove & Eel Garden. Menjangan Island is a small island, located 5 miles to the north-west of Bali Island and is part of the Indonesian archipelago. "Menjangan" in Indonesian means "Deer". The name was given by the local population observing wild deer herds swimming to the island every spring and covering a distance of approx 1.2 miles. Even though the island is a significant part of Bali Barat National Park, it is assigned to the Javanese administrative district and falls under its jurisdiction. The closest big cities are: Singaraja, located in the north of Bali and Banyuwangi, located on the eastern coast of Java. The closest settlement is Sumberkima village. Menjangan Island has incredibly good coral. Lots of small thinks like Nudibranch and Frog Fish, The coral was quite surprising in its quality. The Walls were great opportunities to see these things. Menjangan Island is known as one of best places for snorkeling & diving activities

 

12:00 pm: Lunch which will be served in the box & take a break will be at the Post 1 of Menjangan Island

13:00 pm: Continue to ride boat to Tabuhan Island 

13:30 pm: Arrive in Tabuhan Island, doing for extra snorkeling activities and exploring this remote place

 

Tabuhan Island is situated 20 km from Banyuwangi city it is at the village of Bangsring, Wongsorejo. Tabuhan Island covers an area of about 5 ha. There are spectacular view marine gardens. The coral reefs are homes for myriad of shellfish, sponges, crayfish and marine plants. It is good for scuba diving as the water is very clear. Tabuhan Island is the fantastic island that composed and surrounded by white sand. Coral seems to blossom into garden with an amazing variety of forms and colors. Growing coral from reef acts as homes for whole communities of marine life such as; thousand of beautiful marine view, aquarium fish species (Amphiprion the Dacyllus, the red coloured Labrida and the Gorisygula), shellfish, sponges, crayfish and marine plants. The visitors can do some activities whether snorkeling or deep diving with breathing equipment exploring a reef and marine life in the spectacular drop offs are also an excellent under water visibility or sun bathing, an unforgettable experience. Pulau Tabuhan is 23 km away from Banyuwangi with about 4 square hectares.

 

14:30 pm: Continue to ride boat to reach The Bangsring floating house (Bangsring under water), snorkeling & swimming with kind of fishes. The Bangsring Under Water (Bunder) in Krajan, Bangsring Village, District Wongsorejo which is about 27 kilometers from the city of Banyuwangi. On this place, the tourist is not only treated to views of the marine tourism such as coral reefs on the ocean floor, but visitors can see the child-sized black shark fin about 30-50 cm already tamed. Dozens of children sharks were kept in cages next to the house buoyancy provided by the tour organizer Bangsring Beach. Even visitors can also stop at the house floating, snorkeling (scuba surface), diving, together with children’s pool shark and feed wild marine fish in the Strait of Bali. Around in the late afternoon (around at 16:00 pm, we will escort you back to the place of boat parking and drive back to your hotel in Banyuwangi or Ijen crater area for overnight stay before you enjoy Ijen crater hiking tours on the next morning

 

Wake up in the dawn time (around at 04:00 am) and then you will meet with our staff at the lobby of your hotel to drive to reach to the Paltuding by passing through plantations and rainforest. This is one of the few remaining rain forest in Java Island with giant ferns, plants & big trees. This journey takes approximately 1 hour from your hotel by private car. Paltuding is well known as post 1 (base camp) or starting point for Ijen expedition tour and climbing or trekking tour activities to the slope of Mount Ijen. Arrive in the parking in Paltuding which is located on the slope Mount Ijen, approximately 1 until 1.5 - 2 hours will be required to ascend slope of mount Ijen to reach peak of Ijen Crater ( it is depend on the your condition) and along the path, you will enjoy the stunning natural scenery with fresh air & shady. Resting on the edge of the crater at an altitude of 2883 meters and enjoy best panorama of the lake of sulfate where reflects spectacular view in the surrounding walls to give the impression like doom. The sulfur mining workers go down into the crater and climb back up by passing dangerous path on the edge of Ijen Crater with the load as much as 80 kilograms on their shoulders.  This is really a dangerous & hard job.

 

Here also, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery in the crater of Ijen as one of God’s amazing creation. Do not forget to take pictures in this area as a proof that you have visited one of the most amazing places on earth. After enjoyed the natural scenery at Crater of Ijen and then you will descend the slope of Mount Ijen until vehicles parking area in Paltuding base camp where our vehicle is waiting to escort you back to your hotel or accommodation in Ijen crater area or continue our trip directly to reach to hotel in Surabaya for about 8-9 hours driving. On this day, you will overnight stay at Hotel in Surabaya area before you enjoy your next trip

 

After having breakfast, you may enjoy your own free program in Hotel area till time to escort you to the Airport in Surabaya to catch your flight for next destination and tour package in East Java for Bromo Ijen Tour has finished
