East Java Expedition for Bromo & Ijen Tours 7D

Tour itinerary:
Day 01: Drive from Malang or Surabaya to Hotel in Batu Highland
Our staff will pick you up from train’s station, airport or hotel in Malang or Surabaya, then drive for about 3 hours by a private car with air conditioned to reach Batu Highland area for relaxation, having meals & overnight stay, before we continue our trip on the next morning
Day 02: Batu agro tourism trip – Singosari Temple – Hotel in Mount Bromo
After having breakfast at hotel & around at 08:00AM, we will escort your to BATU HIGHLAND to enjoy agro tourism trip for visiting apple & strawberry plantations with nice hill view and fresh air surrounding. Afterward, we will continue our trip to escort you to Cobanrondo Waterfall. Cobanrondo waterfall is beautiful water fall on the slope of Mount Panderman resort, which is about 32 km to the west from Malang, it is very interesting place to be seen and visited. The height of waterfall is about 60 meter. Visitor can find and enjoy beautiful panorama ore peaceful impression around the waterfall.
After visiting Waterfall, we will continue our trip to Singosari temple where they are located in Singosari sub district 15 minutes to the north side from Malang. Singosari is the most popular temple in Malang and it was one of the Singosari kingdom heritages. Afterward, we will escort you to your hotel in Mount Bromo area for about 3-4 hours for about 3 hours driving for overnight stay in Hotel Bromo area
Day 03: Sunrise - Mount Bromo - Savannah & Sunset Tours at Mentigen
At dawn time (03:30 am), the 4WD (JEEP) will bring you to parking area on bottom of Mt. Pananjakan and from this place, you are required to trek up Mt. Pananjakan for about 30-45 minutes on foot to reach the place to see sunrise. Mount Pananjakan is known as the view point to enjoy sunrise time in Bromo area which is located on the rim of the Tengger caldera. If it is not foggy, the sunlight when the sunrise will play light shadow which it come up from the sidelines of the mountains and it will give impression like unforgettable thing on your mind & heart as a creation from the God
Afterward, the jeep will bring us to continue our tour to reach the parking area which is located on the bottom of Mt. Bromo by passing the amazing view, such as: sea of sand which is bordered by Mountains in Tengger area, then from parking area for the jeep, you are required to cross seas sand of Mt. Bromo by horse riding or on foot (it is optional) till reach the starting point to trek up of Mt Bromo by following more than 250 stairs which it will lead you to reach peak of Mt Bromo.
After enjoy nice view in Mt. Bromo and around at 08:00, we will escort you back to the hotel for having Breakfast. After having breakfast, we will continue our trip for about 1,5 hour driving by 4WD vehicle/ jeep to reach “the savanna/ teletubies hill” by crossing the seas sand in Tengger region which it is bordered by mountains.
After a short break & take pictures, we will go to hotel for taking a bath and enjoy your own free program at hotel nearby with nice view and fresh air surrounding. Around in the late afternoon, we will escort you to the MENTIGEN area to see sunset time then drive back to your hotel for having dinner & overnight stay before we continue our trip on the next morning
Optional program for Bromo Milky Way Tours: If the weather is good enough, you will have a chance to do optional tour program for Milky Way Tours in Bromo area. This trip will be begun at midnight time from your hotel in Bromo (around at 1:30 or 02:00 am) and we will use 4WD vehicle or jeep to reach the place which is best point to see Milky Way in Mount Bromo area. If you are interested to do this trip, you are required to inform us in advance & there will be extra cost to do this optional tour program as attached
Day 04: Mount Bromo & drive to the Hotel in Kalibaru area
After having breakfast, you may enjoy your free program at Hotel in Bromo area till time to continue our trip to reach Kalibaru highland for about 5-6 hours driving by passing small town, villages and plantations. Upon arrival in Kalibaru Highland, you will stay at Margo Utomo Cottages or similar with any kind plantations surrounding and nice hill view.
Optional program when you leave Mount Bromo: If you still have enough time & the weather is good enough, you will have a chance to visit Madakaripura waterfall during the way from Bromo to your hotel in Kalibaru area, but for entrance tickets & local guide at Madakaripura waterfall will be your own cost. Day 05: Kalibaru Hotel – Eco Plantations Trip – Ijen Crater Hotel
Having breakfast at your hotel, then around at 08:00, you will have a chance to enjoy eco trip of plantations in Kalibaru area. On this tour's program, you will do short trekking through 09 hectares plantations with varieties of spices such as nutmeg, pepper, cinnamon, cocoa, coffee, cloves and coconuts. You may also discover the extraordinary attraction of a traditional making process of palm tree liquid into palm sugar. Not to forget for visiting the dairy farm. The tour can be arranged in the morning and takes about 1 hour until 1.5 hours. Afterward, around at 10:00am, we will continue our trip to Banyuwangi for about 1,5-2hours. You may stop on the way when you are passing interesting objects, such as: small town, villages & rice field. Upon arrival in Banyuwangi area, you will stay at Ketapang Indah Hotel or similar hotel where located on the beach nearby or similar hotel.
Day 06: Ijen Crater Tours & drive back Surabaya
About at 04:30 in the morning, our 4WD vehicle (jeep) will bring us to the village of Licin and then continue to the slope of Mount Ijen, passing through plantations and rainforest. This is one of the few remaining on the Island of Java with giant ferns, plants & big trees, this journey takes approximately 1 hour from the hotel by private car. Arrive at the parking area of Mount Ijen, approximately 1 until 1.5 hours will be required to ascend slope of mount Ijen to reach peak of Ijen Crater and along the path, you will enjoy the stunning natural scenery with fresh air & shady.
Resting on the edge of the crater at an altitude of 2883 meters and enjoy best panorama of the lake of sulfate where reflects spectacular view in the surrounding walls to give the impression like doom. The sulfur mining workers go down into the crater and climb back up by passing dangerous path on the edge of Ijen Crater with the load as much as 80 kilograms on their shoulders. This is really a dangerous & hard job. Here also, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery in the crater of Ijen as one of God’s amazing creation. Do not forget to take pictures in this area as a proof that you have visited one of the most amazing places on earth.
After enjoyed the natural scenery at Crater of Ijen and then you will descend the slope of Mount Ijen until vehicles parking area where our vehicle is waiting to escort you back to SURABAYA for about 8-9 hours driving including stop on the way for having meals at local restaurant which is located near by the beach. Upon your arrival time in Surabaya area, our staff will escort you the hotel in Surabaya which you have booked by yourself for overnight stay
Optional program for Blue Fire Tours or Blue Flame Tours in Ijen Crater: If the weather is good enough, you will have a chance to see blue fire & sunrise at Ijen Crater but you are required to leave from the hotel around at 12:00pm (midnight) and there will be extra cost for mining worker who will lead us to see blue fire at Ijen Crater (you can pay him on the site). Day 07: Leaving from Surabaya
After having breakfast, you may enjoy your own free program in the area of Hotel in Surabaya till time to escort you to the airport or train station in Malang or Surabaya for your next trip and tour package finished

Entrance tickets: You are required to pay entrance tickets during your trip by yourself and please show your id card. Cost for entrance tickets are mentioned below:

~ Ticket in Ijen Crater is IDR. 100.000 per person on working days & IDR. 150.000 per person on public holidays
Additional information: Indonesian citizen will get cheaper cost for entrance ticket as a local people
