Java Adventure Trail for 4 days trip from Malang or Surabaya to get Ijen Tours, Sukamade Beach Tours, Bromo Sunrise Tours & Paragliding Activities and back to Surabaya or Malang
Tour itinerary:
Day 01: Drive from Malang or Surabaya to Ijen Crater Hotel
Start from airport, train’s station or hotel in Malang or Surabaya (the best time to start this trip is before at 2PM & please let us know where we have to meet you), our staff will meet you then escort you to the small town of Banyuwangi or Bondowoso regency which is Ijen Crater Located. The journey takes approximately 7-9 hours driving by private car with air conditioned with possible stops en route for having lunch at local restaurant on the way. On this trip, you will pass rural landscape, small city, plantations, rainforest & beaches. Upon your arrival Ijen Crater area, you will stay overnight at Hotel in Ijen Crater area before enjoy Ijen Crater Trekking on the next morning.
Day 02: Ijen Crater Tours & drive to Sukamade Turtle Beach (B, L, D)
Around at 04:30 in the morning, our 4WD vehicle (jeep) will bring us to the village of Licin and then continue to the slope of Mount Ijen, passing through plantations and rainforest. This is one of the few remaining on the Island of Java with giant ferns, plants & big trees, this journey takes approximately 1 hour from the hotel by private car. Arrive at the parking area of Mount Ijen, approximately 1 until 1.5 hours will be required to ascend slope of mount Ijen to reach peak of Ijen Crater and along the path, you will enjoy the stunning natural scenery with fresh air & shady.
Resting on the edge of the crater at an altitude of 2883 meters and enjoy best panorama of the lake of sulfate where reflects spectacular view in the surrounding walls to give the impression like unforgettable thing on your life. The sulfur mining workers go down into the crater and climb back up by passing dangerous path on the edge of Ijen Crater with the load as much as 80 kilograms on their shoulders.
This is really a dangerous & hard job. Here also, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery in the crater of Ijen as one of God’s amazing creation. Do not forget to take pictures in this area as a proof that you have visited one of the most amazing places on earth. After enjoyed the natural scenery at Crater of Ijen and then you will descend the slope of Mount Ijen until vehicles parking area where our vehicle is waiting to escort you to continue our tour to reach your accommodation in Sukamade Turle Beach area for about 4-5 hours driving. On this day you will overnight stay at Sukamade Guesthouse
Optional program for Blue Fire Tours or Blue Flame Tours in Ijen Crater: If the weather is good enough, you will have a chance to see blue fire & sunrise at Ijen Crater but you are required to leave from the hotel around at 12:00pm (midnight) and there will be extra cost for mining worker who will lead us to see blue fire at Ijen Crater (you can pay him on the site). Sukamade Turtle Beach: Sukamade beach is about 97 km to southwest of Banyuwangi. It is natural and quiet, beautiful place. Dutch discovered it in 1927. The 1200 hectare estate is an active plantation that produces rubber, coffee and cacao. Sukamade is the east Java Natural Resource Conservation which is in charge of the turtle’s perpetuation. A night adventure tour to Sukamade is an unforgettable trip. You will be guided by a natural resource to find sea turtles come to a shore to lay eggs. You can see a female turtle lays more than one hundred eggs on the sandy beach. The female turtles usually start landing at 7:30 PM and return to the sea at 12:00PM.
How you can reach Sukamade Turtle Beach: We will use jeep (4WD vehicle) to reach this place & the road to Sukamade is worth for the people who want to get the real adventure trip. It is one of best Java adventure trail for exploring southern coast of Banyuwangi. On this trip you will be crossing the rivers, exploring the rural landscapes & passing rainforest. Along the way to visit this place the visitors can stop at the beautiful place as known as Rajegwesi & the green bay (Teluk Hijau) with its beautiful cliff around. Here, also you will have a chance for a dawn excursion to see animals on the savannah. This place is virgin forest forest with white sandy beach & natural view which is located on the southern tip of Banyuwangi, East Java-Indonesia.
Accommodation in Sukamade Beach: Condition here is very basic, but more often for the people who visited this place will recommend to others to visit Sukamade Beach when they are in Banyuwangi and sometime, they intend to come back to get an experience exceedingly rare & unique. On this date, you will stay overnight & having dinner at the lodge or guesthouse in Sukamade Beach.
Day 03: Sukamade Turtle Beach & drive to Hotel in Bromo (B)
After breakfast in Sukamade turtle beach area then spend the morning for exploring the surroundings of Sukamade. This is an area of virtually void of people. Go and a dip in crystal clear waters nearby river. Afterward, we leave this area in the early noon to continue our trip to your hotel in Bromo area for about 8-9 hours driving. On this way, you will pass rural landscape, plantations, small cities & rice fields. Upon arrival in Bromo area, you will overnight stay at Hotel in Bromo before you enjoy Bromo Sunrise Tours on the next morning.
Day 04: Bromo Sunrise Tours & drive for Paragliding - Surabaya or Malang (B)
At dawn time (03:30 am), the 4WD (JEEP) will bring you to parking area on bottom of Mt. Pananjakan and from this place, you are required to trek up Mt. Pananjakan for about 30-45 minutes on foot to reach the place to see sunrise. Mount Pananjakan is known as the view point to enjoy sunrise time in Bromo area which is located on the rim of the Tengger caldera. If it is not foggy, the sunlight when the sunrise will play light shadow which it come up from the sidelines of the mountains and it will give impression like unforgettable thing on your mind & heart as a creation from the God
Afterward, the jeep will bring us to continue our tour to reach the parking area which is located on the bottom of Mt. Bromo by passing the amazing view, such as: sea of sand which is bordered by Mountains in Tengger area, then from parking area for the jeep, you are required to cross seas sand of Mt. Bromo by horse riding or on foot (it is optional) till reach the starting point to trek up of Mt Bromo by following more than 250 stairs which it will lead you to reach peak of Mt Bromo.
After enjoy nice view in Mt. Bromo and around at 07:30, we will drive back to your hotel in Bromo area for having breakfast, take shower, packing & loading bags into the vehicle and then around at 09:00 am, we will leave Mount Bromo continue our trip to reach the place for Paragliding activities in Batu Highland for about 3-4 hours driving. For those of you who feel challenged to perform an unusual sport, here you will be challenged to feel the sensation of flying like an eagle amid the clouds or for those of you who want to enjoy the view of the Batu from the different angles and then want to have photographs from the sky, you might consider to do this activities which it will be provided with variety of package options tandem paragliding. After enjoy Paragliding activities, we will continue our trip to reach Surabaya for about 3-4 hours driving & tour packages finished
Optional tour program to see Milky Way in Mount Bromo area: If the weather is good enough, you will have a chance to do optional tour program for Milky Way Tours in Bromo area. This trip will be begun at midnight time from your hotel in Bromo (around at 1:30 or 02:00 am) and we will use 4WD vehicle or jeep to reach the place which is best point to see Milky Way in Mount Bromo area. If you are interested to do this trip, you are required to inform us in advance & there will be extra cost to do this optional tour program as attached
Note: If your trip will finish at airport in Malang or Surabaya and you will fly out from airport in Malang or Surabaya, you are required to take a flight out from Malang or Surabaya in the evening time (after at 19:00 pm)
