Itinerary of your tour package

Day 01: Trip from Malang or Surabaya to Tumpak Sewu waterfall stay

• Our staff will pick you up at the hotel, airport, train’s station or other places as meeting point either in Surabaya or Malang (kindly inform us where we have to meet you in Surabaya or Malang), then drive to reach accommodation in area of waterfall Tumpak Sewu.

• If your trip is started from Malang, you will need for about 2.5 - 3 hours driving and if your trip is started from Surabaya, you will need for about 3.5 - 4.5 hours driving to reach area of Tumpak Sewu waterfall. The spending time to reach Tumpak Sewu waterfall as mentioned above is depend on the traffic condition/ situation.

• On your trip today, you will pass small cities, plantations and rice fields. You may stop enroutes of the trip if you wanna go to the public toilet, getting food and beverages in local restaurant of the side roads and take the pictures when you see the interesting places.

• Upon arrival in area of Tumpak Sewu waterfall, we will escort you to the homestay nearby and check-in process, take a rest and overnight stay in home stay or guest house where is located nearby Tumpak Sewu waterfall which is in the regency of Lumajang - East Java, Indonesia

Day 02: Tumpak Sewu waterfall tour and Ijen crater stay (B)

• 08.00-12.00: After having breakfast and around at 08.00 am or by the latest at 09.00 am, our team will be ready to escort you to the parking area of Tumpak Sewu waterfall as our next destination for our journey adventure in East Java.

• Upon your arrival in the parking area of Tumpak Sewu waterfall, we will walk to reach waterfall point for about 30 – 45 minutes by descending cliff and crossing river. Exploring the waterfall and enjoy the beautiful view with natural backgrounds surrounding. Take your time for photo in this place, since this place is one of the best waterfall falls in East Java – Indonesia.

• Tumpak Sewu waterfall is considered as the most beautiful waterfall on the Java Island and even throughout Indonesia, has a unique formation resembling a widened curtain, looks beautiful and perfect when viewed from a height place.

• Tumpak Sewu waterfall has a height of approximately 120m and located at an altitude of 500mdpl, the flow of water is swiftly sourced from Mount Semeru, the highest mountain in Java. Local community known this waterfall as Coban Sewu, administratively located in Lumajang district but bordering Malang Regency.

• This day tour will invite and challenge you to visit this most beautiful waterfall in Java, when arriving at the gate of the waterfall, you will be invited to do trekking for approximately 30 – 45 minutes to reach waterfall. You will spend your adventure trip in Tumpak Sewu waterfall by the latest till at 12 pm  

• 12.00-20.00: After enjoy adventure trekking tours with amazing view in Tumpak Sewu waterfall; we will continue our trip for about 7-9 hours driving to reach your accommodation or hotel in Ijen crater area - Banyuwangi/ Bondowoso. Upon your arrival in Ijen crater area, we will escort you to the hotel for check-in process and then overnight stay

* Note and Extra Info (conditional); If during this trip, the weather is good - you will have a chance to stop at the Blekok village which is located for about 5 - 6 hours driving from Tumpak Sewu waterfall. This place is about 5 hectares of mangrove forest in Pesisir Timur Hamlet, Klatakan Village, Kendit District - Situbondo Regency, it has long been a nest for Blekok birds (one od the water bird species).

Blekok village is an area of tourism destination based on mangrove forest and water bird conservation. Located in a coastal area with a total of 260 households. This area is dominated by mangrove forests by 60% which is completed with the trail made from the wood.

The main attraction of this tourist area is that tourists can interact directly with the mangrove plants and water birds. Interaction with the mangrove plants can be carried out starting from nurseries, planting to care, then for interactions with the water birds, the tourist can observe and photographe them. To visit and doing Blekok village tours is depend on the weather and there will be extra cost - You are required to inform us in advance if you wanna do this optional tour program

Day 03: Night trip for Ijen crater hike and continue to Baluran National Park tours,- then Surabaya stay (B)

• 00.30: Leaving from your accommodation in Ijen crater – Banyuwangi area and then drive to reach the base camp of Paltuding for about 1 hour drive. The base camp of Paltuding is as the parking lot in Ijen crater which is well known as post 1 of Paltuding or this is as the starting point for the climbing activities in Ijen crater and then you will do climbing tours in Ijen crater as follow 

• 02.00 - 06.00: The preparation and then climbing activities to reach top of Ijen. Observation of the Milky Way + the seeing process of blue fire

• If it is allowed by the Ijen crater afficer (conditional), We'll descend to reach the edge of lake to see blue fire with better and clearer view, then afterward viewing of sunrise on the peak of Mount Ijen and take a rest with an amazing view the green lake of sulfur as natural backgrounds which can forget how tired for the climbing process in Ijen crater

• 06.00 - 10.00: Go down by passing the same route or path on the slope of Mount Ijen till reach the base camp of Paltuding. Leaving from Ijen crater area and going back to your accommodation or hotel. During our way back to your accommodation, you can stop for visiting Jagir waterfall of it is well known as mini Niagara waterfall - Banyuwangi as your bonus trip (it is conditional). 

• 10.00 – 15.00: Then, when you arrived at your accommodation, please enjoy your breakfast, take shower and packing your luggage before you leave the accommodation. Around at 11 am or by the latest at 12.00 pm, and then we’ll continue our trip directly to drive for 2 hours to reach to Baluran National Park.

• Arriving at Baluran National Park, doing the Baluran tour activities such as; enjoy the natural beauty of Savana Bekol, go up to the Baluran viewing tower, enjoy views of Mount Baluran, relax and take a rest. Then witness the beauty of Bama Beach then take a trip around the Mangrove by passing wooden trail of Bama Beach

• 15.00 - 21.00: Leave Baluran National Park and the trip continues for 6 - 8 hours driving to reach your accommodation in area of Surabaya with possibility stop on the way for having meals, drinks and find the public toilet at the local restaurant which is located on road banks. Upon your arrival in Surabaya area, we will escort you to the accommodation for overnight stay  

# Note and extra info: If the weather is NOT good or you are tired or not allowed to do night climbing, you can do the basic/ standard Ijen crater tour without doing the blue fire tour - and no seeing the blue flame in Ijen crater,  then the Ijen tour package will be started from your accommodation around at 2 am. Day 04: Fly from Surabaya to Pangkalan Bun airport then to Tanjung Puting park (B, L, D)

• Today, our staff will fetch you at the lobby of your accommodation in Surabaya area and escort you to Surabaya airport. Then you are required to be at Surabaya airport by the latest 1.5 hours before your flight time for check-in process of domestic flight. And from Surabaya airpport, you will fly to Pangkalan Bun in Central Kalimantan with morning or afternoon flight (it depends on the flight schedule availability). When you arrived at Pangkalan Bun airport, our local team (our representative) will meet you and take you to port of Kumai’s river by a car for 20 minutes.

• Afterward, you will board on the traditional boat to proceed for your trip to reach Tanjung Puting National Park area for 2 hours exploring the river. This boat is river boat with an engine and it is made from iron wood and a specialist for tourism industry. The boat is made with 12m (length) and 2,5m (width) with a roof on upper deck where you will view the natural environment of the rainforest. The local people call it by KLOTOK.

• We will explore the river by Klotok with slowly to observe wild animals and the natural environment along the river side. There are Proboscis monkeys, Macaques, many species of birds and other wild animals will greet you in the middle of Borneo rain forest. The boat’s facilities are a simple cabin with mattress, pillow, blanket, meals, mineral water, mosquito net, kitchen and toilet. You can choose to take meals and stay overnight on Boat to get a cheapest price for your trip or at lodge for more comfortable accommodation

Day 05: Orangutan tour in Pondok Tanggui - Camp Leaky (B, L, D)

• After having breakfast, boating up to Camp Leakey the high light place for Orangutan where you will do trekking into the jungle. Back to the boat for lunch and observing the feeding time around 14.00. Enjoy the situation and photo hunting. Back to the boat and boating down to Crocodile Nest lake observing. Stay overnight and having dinner on Houseboat or at Eco Lodge

Day 06: Leave Tanjung Puting to Pangkalan Bun airport (B)

• After breakfast, we will transfer you to reach to the river port in Kumai by Klotok and it will need for about 2 hours, and then we will drive to Pangkalan Bun airport to catch your flight leaving for next destination OR other places in area of Pangkalan Bun as finish point for about 30 minutes.
